Keeping up your energy levels at work is essential, one great way to do this is to eat foods that fuel you, here's why you shouldn't be skipping your lunch breaks...
Studies show that the number of employees skipping their lunch break is significantly larger than expected, this has a profoundly negative impact on the productivity of said employees. It’s important to remember that your lunch break is unpaid, that time is legally allocated for you and your well being, even taking 20 minutes can help you feel more energetic, refreshed and relaxed.
Many people don’t realize that it is in fact illegal to not allocate employees a lunch break when they work six or more hours in a day. But 56% of workers never even take their entire break, usually those over 24, whereas people under that age almost always take their full break.
The amount of allocated break time that employees skip in the UK averages £33000 worth of unpaid work over their career!
