Building a highly tuned Marketing Team.
We have been recruiting for VOID Acoustics since May 2023 when we were tasked with hiring a stand-alone Marketing Manager for the company.
This was a new position for them, as they had no internal marketing function at the time, and were relying on using external marketing agencies. The current marketing strategy hadn’t been delivering the high quality leads the Founders wanted, so they made a decision to hire an internal Marketing Manager with our help.
And….as you will read further down…this was just the beginning!
Company Background
Void Acoustics are a global manufacturer of exceptional commercial speaker systems that are present at some of the most famous nightclubs, theatres and festivals around the world.
Their journey began in 2002 and they have grown significantly since their inception, to become a well-known, high-end international brand within commercial sound system circles.
The Position
As we are well-known in Dorset for specialising in marketing roles (particularly senior level positions), we were an ideal choice to partner with VOID for this key hire. To date, we have been responsible to hiring 4 Marketing and Events roles, all of which are still in active positions.

The Process
We have an exceptional network of senior level marketing experts in the South, which we were able to leverage.
In addition to this, we ran a highly targeted headhunting campaign, based on the key skills and experience the Founders wanted, along with ensuring the candidates were the right cultural fit and had aligned aspirations, values and motivations for both the role itself and their own personal and career development goals.
By combining these tactics, we were able to provide VOID with a high calibre shortlist of four Marketing Managers, who were all very interested in the role.
The Outcome.
After a comprehensive interview and selection process, the company chose an excellent Marketing Manager, who has propelled the company’s global reach.
Not only has this hire been a huge success, over the last 18 months, we have been trusted to find and hire a further three marketing and events team members to support the Marketing Manager.
The company continues to expand at pace – especially now that they have such a high performing marketing function in place.
